Who it's for
Business owners in the Netherlands who want to sell products online. For example a shop that wants to sell online as well, or a maker with their own range.
If you sell to Dutch customers, iDEAL matters: it's the online payment method they know and expect at checkout.
A webshop in WooCommerce
We build your webshop in WooCommerce, the shop extension for WordPress. Customers order and pay online. You manage your own products, prices and orders.
Because it runs on WordPress, you are not tied to one webshop platform. The shop and all its data are yours.
What you get
- iDEAL and other payment methods, through a payment provider that we connect to your shop.
- Shipping costs and VAT set up correctly.
- Products, prices and photos that you add and edit yourself.
- A walkthrough on processing orders.
- All files and logins.
iDEAL is becoming iDEAL | Wero
iDEAL is moving step by step to Wero, a European payment system. From 2026, the iDEAL | Wero logo appears at checkout. According to iDEAL's current planning, every webshop that accepts iDEAL will have switched by the end of 2027 at the latest. After that, the iDEAL name is gradually phased out. iDEAL itself notes that this planning may still change.
For your customers, paying stays the same: they pay through their own bank. According to iDEAL, your payment provider takes care of the technical updates and the new logo. We make sure the payment plugin is up to date at launch. With maintenance and security we keep it up to date after that.
What you arrange yourself
- Hosting and a domain name. You get these yourself from a hosting provider of your choice, in your own name.
- An account with a payment provider. They charge a fee per payment. You pay this directly to the provider, and fees differ between providers.
- Your product details: names, prices, photos and descriptions. We agree up front how many products we add and how many you add yourself.
- Your terms and conditions and returns policy. Dutch and EU rules apply to selling online, such as the 14-day right of withdrawal. The content of your terms is your responsibility. We are not lawyers.
When this isn't the right fit
- You only sell one or two things, or you mainly want enquiries or bookings. A WordPress website with a contact form is often enough, and costs less. If you don't need a webshop, we'll tell you.
- You have thousands of products, or you want to connect a till system or a marketplace. That is more work than a small webshop. Tell us in the intro call and we'll tell you honestly whether it's something we do.
Custom price
Every webshop is different: the number of products, payment methods and shipping options vary. After a free intro call you get one fixed price, before we start. All prices exclude Dutch VAT (btw), see also pricing.
